Privacy Policy

What this website collects, what it does not, and how to reach us about it. Written in plain language, because a policy nobody can read protects nobody.

The short version

Private Security LA Worldwide runs this website. We do not sell your information, we do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use cookies to follow you around the internet.

The only personal information we hold is what you deliberately send us — through the contact or careers form, by email, or by phone. We store form submissions so that none are lost. Everything else we measure is anonymous and counted in aggregate.

Information you send us

When you submit the contact or careers form, it is sent to our server, stored in our database, and emailed to our office. We keep the stored copy so that an enquiry is never lost if the email fails to arrive.

We also store a one-way scrambled fingerprint of your network address. It is not your address and cannot be turned back into one; its only purpose is to stop automated abuse of the form. It is never used to identify or track you.

  • Contact form: your name, company, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, your timeline, and your message.
  • Careers form: your name, phone number, email address, the role you are applying for, your experience, and your message.
  • Email and phone: whatever you choose to tell us.

How we use it

We use what you send us to respond to you, to assess and deliver security services, and to consider job applications. That is all.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not add you to marketing lists without you asking. We do not share your details with anyone outside the company except where it is necessary to deliver a service you have requested, or where the law requires it.

Information collected automatically

We keep a basic count of how the site is used, so we know which services people are looking for and whether the site is working. This is deliberately built to be anonymous.

  • The country a visit came from — country only. Not your city, not your street, not your IP address.
  • Which pages were viewed, and when.
  • Which links and buttons were used, so we can tell which services draw interest.
  • General device type — whether the site was viewed on a phone, tablet, or computer.

What we deliberately do not collect

The measurement above is designed so that no visitor can be identified or followed. Specifically:

  • We do not store IP addresses. Your country is determined at the network edge and the address itself is discarded, never written down.
  • We do not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services.
  • We do not build a profile of you, and we cannot recognise you as the same person returning on a later day.
  • We do not know who you are. We can see that someone in a country viewed a page; we cannot see that it was you.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies on visitors. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

The one exception is the private staff area at /admin, which sets a single sign-in cookie so an authorised member of staff stays logged in. It is strictly necessary for that area to function, it is never set for ordinary visitors, and it is not used for tracking.

Other companies involved

Running a website means someone hosts it. We keep that list as short as we can.

  • Vercel — hosts this website and serves its pages. Vercel processes network requests, including your IP address, in order to deliver the site to you, as any web host must.
  • Zoho — provides our company email. Messages you send us arrive and are stored there.
  • Neon — hosts the database that holds form submissions until we have answered them.
  • Resend — delivers the notification email that tells our office a form has been submitted.
  • Fonts and images are served from this website itself. Your browser is not asked to contact Google, a font service, or any advertising network while viewing this site.

How long we keep things

Correspondence and applications are kept as long as we have a reason to — an active enquiry, an ongoing client relationship, a live recruitment process, or a legal or insurance obligation to retain records. When there is no longer a reason, we delete it.

Form submissions stored on this website are kept for no longer than two years unless you become a client, in which case ordinary business records apply. You can ask us to delete yours sooner using the contact details below, and we will unless we are required to keep it.

Anonymous usage counts are kept as aggregate statistics. Because they are not linked to any person, they cannot be traced back to you.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us and we will respond.

California residents have specific rights under California privacy law, including the right to know what personal information is collected and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front. Exercising any of these rights will never cause you to be treated differently.

Because our automatic measurement is anonymous, we cannot locate or delete it on request — there is no record connected to you to find.

Security

We are a security company and we treat information the way we treat everything else we are trusted with. Access to enquiries and applications is limited to the people who need it. The staff area of this site requires an emailed access code and a password.

No system is perfectly secure. Please do not send sensitive personal details — government identification numbers, financial details, or medical information — through a web form or unencrypted email. If you need to share something sensitive, call us and we will arrange a secure method.

Children

This site is intended for adults conducting business. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
